John studied Bass at Berklee College of Music and voice through the New England Conservatory and played and sang professionally for most of the clubs in San Francisco and San Jose. 

   As a solo artist he made the switch over from bass to acoustic guitar, bringing a lot of the same bass technique- rock, funk and pop to his originals and arrangements.
