Dejon Barber
Dejon Barber’s art focuses on whimsy, bright colors and simple lines. Each piece in this series was painted in reverse on the back of a transparent surface, starting with the outline, and layering each highlight, shadow and color on top of the last. This process is time consuming, each layer must dry completely before the next is added, but this technique allows the front of the painting to remain completely smooth and glossy.
